Over the summer, I had the chance to visit Williamsburg, Virginia and Boston, Massachusetts, stopping at places like Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and Concord, Massachusetts along the way.

We have been learning about lesser-known patriots — like Dr. Joseph Warren, who sent Paul Revere on his famous ride; women like Captain Molly Corbin and Deborah Samson; and an Oneida woman, Polly Cooper.

The Project

Julia is creating a Bob Baker Marionette Theater traveling show featuring important moments in America’s founding from 1770–1783. The show debuts during Constitution Week, September 17–23, 2026, and will be available for bookings throughout Southern California and beyond.
